A rather large challenge: Löbdergraben 29, the former cinema "Capitol"
On the 09.03.2011 within the framework of an anniversary celebration of Jena Immobilien König, the former Capitol was given one last chance to appear in its old splendour. The 10. anniversary celebration ceremony of Jena Immobilien König Gmbh paired with the announcement of several completed objects proved to be the perfect springboard to draw the curtains one last time. 250 guests were whisked off to the cinematic history of the Capitol since its initial opening in 1927. Cineastic treats and memories flickered across the silver screen and just like the old days an icecream-seller offered sweet tempatations to the guests.
The popular songs of the singer Ute Freudenberg ensured a tasteful musical accompaniment. Due to the fantastic performance of the artist, representatives of the municipal offices, business partners, friends and acquaintances alike felt inclined to join in the songs and bid the building a worthy farewell.

During the reconstructive works, the public interest in the project was fairly large.
Accordingly, the media coverage was somewhat extensive.
