Media coverage - Jenergasse 2-5
The present project Jenergasse 2-5 is of high public interest.
This is due, not the least, to the exposed location as well as the fact that Jenergasse is among the earliest mentioned pathways within the inner ringroad of Jena and it is widely suspected that Jenergasse was already there even before the city was founded in the 13th century.
To "complicate" matters, beneath Jenergasse, especially the area of Jenaergasse 2-5, there is situated a public listed vaulted cellar. Based on the existance of this cellar any kind of construction has been prohibited for more than a decade.
It is no surprise, that the project is noted in the media even before construction has begun
